What Do YOU Think About UCI's Brilliant Future?

Dear Colleagues:

As you may know, we are involved in a UCI-wide effort to develop our next strategic plan, providing a framework to guide our activities over the next five to seven years. Our overall goal is to enhance UCI’s inclusive excellence, impact, and global preeminence.

Since last fall, we have been engaged in a consultative process with campus units and stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Five highly representative work groups have developed a set of questions to get even more feedback from you, our dynamic community.

Early this week, you will receive an email with a link to an anonymous survey addressing issues affecting our future. I’m asking that you take the time to participate. Answer the questions. Share your opinions. Be heard.

We realize this is a challenging time of the year and the impending summer break is upon us; that said, our work groups will be working throughout the summer on developing the strategic plan. I encourage you to answer at least those questions most closely related to your own interests. Your input is essential.
