Money magazine ranks UCI No. 3 best college

UCI’s stature as one of our nation’s finest universities has been confirmed once again. Money magazine has ranked our campus No. 3 on its 2018 list of the “best colleges in the U.S.,” up four places from last year’s list. The magazine cited UCI and the other schools at the head of the list for delivering “a superior education at an affordable price, enabling graduates to avoid heavy debt and succeed in the workplace.”

The Money recognition is the latest in a series putting UCI in the top tier of U.S. universities for affordability and excellence. Earlier this year, it was No. 4 in Forbes’ 2018 survey of best-value colleges, which judged schools based on cost, academic quality, postgrad earnings, student debt and graduation success. And last year, for the second time in a row, the campus topped The New York Times’ College Access Index of U.S. universities based on their commitment to economic diversity.

We would not receive this kind of acclaim without the hard work and dedication of all our faculty, staff, students and supporters. It is you who have brought UCI to the topmost ranks of higher education in this country and around the world.
