This year is drawing to a close, finals are over, and soon we will all be dispersing for the holidays. This wonderful season of the year is a time to enjoy our family and friends, to celebrate all that is good in the world, and to rest and reinvigorate ourselves for the new year.
Here at UCI it’s been an outstanding year, and we all have much to look back on with pride and pleasure. I thank each of you for all you have contributed to the life of this university. It is you – our students, faculty, staff, and supporters – who make this such a rewarding place to study, to work, and to live.
Happy holidays and best wishes for a happy, healthy, and enlightening 2016! We look forward to seeing you back on campus in January.
