Rebuilding Trust in Science: What Can Researchers Do?
Research Integrity Symposium
March 4, 2025 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Space is limited, so please RSVP by February 20.
The symposium aims to ignite an important conversation among the scientific community about ways to restore and strengthen confidence in the scientific enterprise. Together with colleagues from across campus, you will explore the challenges and opportunities to enhance trust in science, both among researchers and within society at large.
The program will feature:
- Short talks from experts addressing the psychological, social, regulatory and public dimensions of research integrity.
- Interactive breakout sessions to foster discussion and collaboration.
- Opportunities to connect with peers over morning refreshments, coffee and lunch.
A key goal of the symposium is to identify and inspire a community of researchers committed to promoting open and rigorous research practices. Additionally, we aim to produce a public document summarizing the insights, concerns and ambitions shared during the event.
