As the Vice Dean for Medical Education at the UCI School of Medicine, she oversees all aspects of medical student and resident training, as well as continuing education for practicing physicians. She is an expert in medical education accreditation and serves as a survey visitor for the Liaison Committee for Medical Education, the accrediting body for allopathic medical schools in the United States. Under Dr. Le-Bucklin’s leadership, UCI continues to garner national recognition for its work in continuous quality improvement and curricular innovations. Dr. Le-Bucklin received her undergraduate degree in Integrative Biology, with a minor in American Literature, at UC Berkeley. She obtained her medical degree at UC San Francisco, and completed her pediatric residency at Stanford University.
