After a successful career as a partner in a litigation firm, Jennifer left her law practices to become CEO of Project Hope Alliance in 2013. There, she leads the organization’s work to permanently lift Orange County children out of homelessness, and successfully redirect their futures. Project Hope Alliance has partnered with both UCI and Orange County United Way in support of these efforts. Jennifer is a graduate of University of California Irvine and Whittier Law School, and serves as a Member of the University of California at Irvine Alumni Board of Directors, the Field Study Advisory Board, School of Social Ecology, and today’s OC Working Together’s Steering Committee.
Michael M. Ruane, Executive Vice President, National Community Renaissance (National CORE)
After serving the Orange County community for over 20 years as a part of the County CEO’s office, as Executive Director of the Orange County Children and Families Commission, and Interim Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Strategy and Public Affairs at CalOptima, Michael is currently Executive Vice President of National Community Renaissance (National CORE), one of the nation’s largest nonprofit affordable housing developers. Michael is a graduate of UCLA and the University of California Irvine, is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Policy, Planning and Design, and serves on the Board of Directors of Orange County United Way and as a member of today’s OC Working Together’s Steering Committee.
