Dr. Federoff brings unique and exceptional abilities to this position during an important moment in UCI’s distinguished story. Dr. Federoff’s background, experience and leadership skills will ensure that UCI accelerates its contributions to human health and provides the people of this region with world-class patient care.
I want to thank chair Bruce Tromberg and his committee for their excellent work in conducting a thorough and comprehensive national search, which has been so successfully concluded. I especially wish to acknowledge the extraordinary service of Dr. Roger Steinert, who has served as interim dean of the School of Medicine since Dr. Ralph Clayman retired from the position in July 2014.
Please join me in welcoming Dr. Federoff to the UCI community.
