Chancellor welcomes Queen Noor of Jordan

On May 2, the Living Peace Series presented a conversation with Queen Noor of Jordan, who is internationally renowned for her humanitarian and peacebuilding efforts. Chancellor Michael Drake and Kelly Thornton Smith, founder of the Orange County Center for Living Peace which co-sponsored the series, opened the program to a crowd of 900 at the Student Center’s Pacific Ballroom.  The conversation with Her Majesty was moderated by Dalai Lama Scholar Armaan Ahmed Rowther, a UCI senior majoring in public health policy.
