Chancellor addresses emeriti and retirees

More than 200 UC Irvine emeriti faculty and retired staff gathered at the University Club on Monday, April 30, for an annual reception with the chancellor. The event, sponsored by the Center for Emeriti and Retirees, included a campus update and a display of artwork by members. Chancellor Michael Drake gave an overview of the university’s accomplishments during its first five decades and said, “Yesterday and today have been terrific, and tomorrow’s going to be outstanding.”
