Chancellor recognizes retirees and emeriti

Chancellor Michael Drake hosted an annual reception for UC Irvine's retired and emeriti faculty and staff April 15 at the Student Center. The reception was organized by the five-year-old Center for Emeriti & Retirees, which serves 3,830 retired university employees, many of whom remain actively involved in the campus. "Thank you very much for all you've done to make this the place that it is, and for all you're continuing to do to support us," the chancellor said.
