Remember to vote

Dear Anteater community,

The California Primary Election is today and you have your last opportunity to join other voters across California to weigh in on candidates and issues that impact our daily lives and the future of our state and nation. There are issues on the ballot that affect each one of us here at UC Irvine. The propositions and candidates on the ballot deserve your careful consideration. Voting is your voice, and we encourage you to use it.

All mail-in ballots must be postmarked no later than today and received by March 12, 2024.

At UCI we have TWO options for you to cast your ballot in person. The hours of operations for both locations on this election day are 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

• UCI Student Center (311 W. Peltason Drive, Irvine, CA) – Free parking in the Student Center Parking Structure
• University Hills Community Center (1083 California Ave, Irvine, CA) – Free parking in parking lot adjacent to the facility

In addition, UC Irvine’s OC ROV Official Ballot Drop Box is located on the corner of Campus Drive and West Peltason, near the kiosk at the entrance of parking lot 5. It will cease accepting ballots at 8:00 p.m.

Please take advantage of the hard-won right to participate in American democracy and use the most powerful tool you have to bring about lasting change.
