Mary Gilly

Mary Gilly, professor of marketing and senior associate dean in The Paul Merage School of Business, has expertise in consumer behavior, focusing her research on the indirect and often unintended consequences of marketing actions. Current projects include consumer compliance with debt management services, the phenomenon of consumer-generated advertising and bicultural household decision-making. Her work with doctoral students from underrepresented groups has been acknowledged with the Williams-Qualls-Spratlan Multicultural Mentoring Award of Excellence.
